Patricia Laplante-Collins created Paris Soirees Dinners on Sundays and Paris Networking Cocktail events on Wednesdays, among other events, to bring Americans, expats, hip French and the International Community together in a global meetup, in Paris. Evenings feature Literary, Art, New Age, Business, African- American and Black Paris themes. There is an intimate salon atmosphere but it’s all about meeting people in Paris and creating friendships. Patricia is also the founder of African American Literary Soirees.

What happens at a typical Soiree.

To enter Patricia's world you pass through the gates of a typical 17th century historical building on the Ile St. Louis, next to a trendy science-fiction art gallery. One floor up Patricia greets you and you enter a classical Ile St. Louis apartment with wooden beans traversing the ceiling and views into a Parissian garden. Patricia welcomes you with warm Southern hospitality. The first hour you share wine with othe guests and become acquainted. Then we introduce ourselves to the group so that everyone knows who all the new and interesting people are, why they are in Paris and the facinating things they do. People arrive at 6.30pm and dinner is served at about 8pm. After dessert the Special Guest is introduced and we have the presentation, talk or musical performance. Discussion, information, friendship and business are all part of Paris soirees at Patricia Laplants ile st. Louis apartment. It is a centre for african american meetups.

The evening ends with discussions over drinks. Wednesday & Sunday evening soirees begin at 6.30pm and you must reserve by phone or email.
